A mom in Australia has stirred up things with her now-viral video.
She says when she attends a child’s birthday party, her “gift” is to bring a bag of rags and some cleaning supplies
Essentially, she’s saying that parties for kids are one big messy affair, and she’s the hero.
Some people aren’t taking it that way. Many call it “offensive.”
But not everyone. One person said: “Wow, what a lot of hateful comments. It goes to show people choose money and gifts instead of help, time, and love.”
I listened to the mom’s explanation, and, while it’s unusual, I can’t argue with her.
Let's get on with the countdown.

But first, today's Mindbender:
Eight percent of people have never even tried this summer favorite.
I'll have a clue coming up.
Today’s workforce demands
We’re used to seeing the list of requirements posted with a job opening.
But now the list of demands is often coming from the other direction.
A survey asked today’s workforce about the “non-negotiable” perks they require, and it’s not surprising that health benefits and financial security were at the top.
But when it comes to younger workers, 30% also require a four-day work week. Also, 18% of Gen Z’ers want “fun rooms” with games like ping-pong and other activities.
And 17% of Millennials say they would consider “nap rooms” essential. One in five Gen Z and Millennial applicants also need pet-friendly offices.
Good luck, managers!
An AI to help you cheat
Now let’s talk about how someone GETS that new job.
There’s a new startup company which is openly boasting that they can help everyone cheat—on everything.
The founders say they were kicked out of Columbia University for creating a tool called “Interview Coder” that helped engineers cheat on technical interviews.
It uses an “undetectable” AI to coach people through virtual interviews and calls, basically telling them what to say. The founders themselves say it’s cheating.
They say it would live on a desktop tool and could be used to cheat at everything from exams to job interviews, and even for sales calls at work.
You could use it in your personal life, too, like with online dating. You could trick someone into thinking you know a lot about their interests and hobbies, when really you’re just reading off a script.
For what it’s worth, their new company has already raised more than $20 million from backers wanting to fund it.
Here's a clue for the Mindbender:
Some parts of the country like it extra sweet.
Why you should wear green

Are you familiar with color psychology? It’s the study of how various colors can impact your mood and behavior.
Artists and interior designers have known about it for years.
But now one color psychology expert is encouraging people to embrace it. And she says you should often wear the color green.
She says it’s “the psychological primary color that balances the other three: red, yellow, and blue. Too stressed? It will calm you. Down in the dumps? It will lift you up.”
And there ARE studies to back it up, showing that having the color green in your environment can lower your stress levels, including your blood pressure and heart rate.
Another expert agreed, saying, “Green tends to be soothing, so wearing green may make you feel more relaxed and less anxious.”
And now, the answer to today's Mindbender:
What have they never even tried?
Iced tea.
My mom made it by the gallon when I was a kid, and it was years before I realized just how much sugar she was putting in it.
It’s incredible I wasn’t diabetic by age 10.
That'll do it for today's Mindbender. Thank you for being part of The Club.
Enjoy your day!
