The great debate over the use of artificial intelligence has hit a new level.
Now people are discussing whether or not ChatGPT is a god.
Or, if not a god itself, that a person would be able to—and I quote—”talk to God and angels” through the system.
In a report, some have said they expect the AI to turn into an official church with actual clergy and organized services.
When someone asked ChatGPT if there could be a rise in AI “gods” with human followers, the robot said, “Yes, it’s possible.” It went on to say that it touches on “several real and intersecting trends in technology, psychology, and culture.”
The world has changed an awful lot in just three years, hasn’t it?
Let's get on with the countdown.
Along with today's Mindbender you get these bonus stories:
Locking your door
Peeing “just in case”
“Poor people” habits you’ll never give up
But first, today's Mindbender:
Twenty-seven percent of people admit they have faked this.
I'll have a clue coming up.
Locking your door

When you leave your house, do you lock your door every single time?
What if you’re just taking the dog on a quick walk around the block?
A survey found a big discrepancy around the country. More than 90% of people in Georgia, for example, say they always lock their door, while only 48% of people in North Dakota do that.
However, most Americans don’t lock up if they’re just running out on a quick errand. Only 20% lock their door during that dog walk.
On the flip side, 7% said they’ll even lock the door when they simply go out to check the mail.
And if you get locked out? Nearly 40% have a spare key hidden somewhere, and 29% keep a spare with a friend or neighbor.
Peeing “just in case”

Do you ever make yourself go pee before leaving the house, even if you don’t really need to? It’s the “just in case” pee.
Well, a report says that’s not a good idea.
A urologist claims you’re actually training your bladder to tell your brain you need to pee when you don’t have to. Ultimately, that’ll mean even more bathroom runs.
On top of that, it can also cause straining, which can weaken your pelvic floor muscles.
Fortunately, if this happens, you can retrain your brain. One expert calls it “mind over bladder.”
They say if you’re a “just in case” pee-er, try distracting yourself, or maybe do some deep breathing instead.
Here's a clue for the Mindbender:
Hey, if no one can hear the other side, how would they know if you’re faking?
“Poor people” habits you’ll never give up
It’s true that some of the wealthiest people started with next to nothing. And some of their habits—the ones that helped to MAKE them wealthy—never go away.
An online thread asked people to name a “poor people” habit they’ll never give up. The answers included:
- Using every last drop of products, like squeezing out the rest of the toothpaste or lotion.
- Collecting all the complimentary soaps and products at hotels.
- Keeping leftover screws, nuts, and bolts from furniture kits and old broken appliances. You know, to keep in your garage for eternity.
I love that they also mentioned turning off lights whenever you leave a room. Dang, I always thought that was just common sense.
Or maybe it’s just the dad in me.
And now, the answer to today's Mindbender:

They have admitted they faked what?
Being on their phone.
Ah, yes, the ol’ fake conversation on a phone.
Most people are horrible actors and don’t pull it off that well. But A for effort.
That'll do it for today's Mindbender. Thank you for being part of The Club.
Enjoy your day!
